Personally Visited

Meet Our Farmers

We work with a limited number of single-estate farms we've personally visited and built relationships with. These are the people behind your cup.

Fraijanes, Guatemala

Finca Rabanales

5,900 ft (1,800m)Strictly Hard Bean · Arabica · Specialty Grade

Founded in 1884 by Don Gregorio Zamora, who personally planted the first coffee trees — some of which still stand today. Now operated by his great-great-grandchildren Rafael and Maria Elena, five generations later.

Grown on volcanic-rich soil with high rainfall and shifting humidity, Rabanales produces exceptional beans rooted in tradition, family values, innovation, and sustainability. The farm's dedication to their craft is evident in every cup.

Jutiapa, Guatemala

Finca El Aceituno

4,600 ft (1,400m)Strictly Hard Bean · Arabica · Specialty Grade

Family-run by Celeste Fumagalli and her husband Roberto Recinos. The farm descended from Celeste's father, José Adolfo Fumagalli Saravia, and takes its name from an olive tree that once stood on the land — symbolizing the farm's deep roots.

At 4,600 feet, cooling Pacific winds create ideal conditions for full-bodied, complex strictly hard bean specialty coffee. The farm uses an ecological wet mill that reduces water use while regenerating soil, and is committed to conservation, community development, and women's empowerment.

Chimaltenango, Guatemala

Finca Café Enon

6,000+ ft (1,800m+)Strictly Hard Bean · Arabica · Specialty Grade

One of the world's highest coffee farms at over 6,000 feet. Family-owned since 1865, the extreme altitude produces naturally sweeter, slow-grown Arabica Bourbon coffee — shade-grown among natural forests using ecological, traditional practices for over a century.

The beans are sun-dried on handmade terracotta tiles crafted from clay sourced directly from the farm. Beyond coffee, the farm serves as home, school, and feeding center for 250+ children, with medical and sports facilities.
